overwhelmed ***now updated with pictures!

milo is three months old today. for three months he has been the great banisher of the shadows in the corners of my heart. life without him is absolutely unthinkable.

my dad is back in the hospital, with pneumonia, and liver failure, unable to speak. i'm expecting the call anytime now. i don't want to have to deal with it.

it seems my unending patience with milo has completely drained any capacity for patience with justin, who meets my disproportionate disappointment at every turn these days. i'm sorry, baby. i don't know what else to do.

my uvula is the size of gibraltar. i was trying to tough it out, since i have no paid sick time left after my 12 weeks out with milo, but then i read up on the possible consequences of letting strep go untreated. so i have a much-dreaded dr's appointment at 8 am tomorrow. ugh. i'm still putting off calling my ob/gyn about my ongoing bleeding with the iud.

milo is headed to his first cavs' game tonight, the season opener. pictures to follow.

***

as promised, the pictures to follow:

we had a lovely time. and we probably won't take him to another basketball game until he's older. like maybe, seven, say.

YOU GUYS are so adorable! I love his metal sleeping pose, too.

When Mimi was about 3 months, I had some kind of horrible throat thing too and wound up going to the ER. I'm so sorry. But you're so good! You guys are out and about and happy. I loved your picture on Catherine's blog. You're so well adjusted to parenthood. And Milo is just so beautiful. BEAUTIFUL.

Feel better honey.

I know Justin knows you're just frustrated and adjusting. As much as they do, and as hard as they work, dads just aren't moms. I'm sure it's much easier as Milo & Mimi get older - their moms will be more relaxes and less like harpies on their dads. :)

I must admit that when I first read this post, I thought, "A Cavs game? Are they crazy?" We've just discovered that four is a good age to go back to those things. And that was after much trial and error. lol.

Hang in there sweetie. There are days I still want to strangle Steve. You guys just have to find your groove (and I don't mean it THAT way...get your mind out of the gutter). :o)

I'm sorry about your dad Laura. I know what it is like to wait for The Call, not fun at all.

Milo is adorable! Maybe if Justin dressed up in some cute outfits (with hats, they must include hats!) you'd be less fed up with him.
