i hope this information will be helpful. also, please note the peri referenced above is the gd gd peri, not to be confused with the fetal diagnostic peri, who has not yet weighed in on the delivery plan, and who is a female and french-canadian. the fd peri is the peri i see next, on friday after the NST. i saw her briefly yesterday but hadn't seen her before then since the nuchal fold translucency scan at 14w or so, although she told me she has been kept informed about me, so no doubt she has formulated an opinion, too, although probably in french, so no one will understand a goddamn word of it.

All I can say is that you crack me up!
I just love the way you write. But seriously, I know this isn't funny for you and I'm sorry they can't seem to agree. Oh the stress of the last very scary few weeks!! It sucks.
Do not hesitate to contact me for translation from French-Canadian English to regular English. I took high school French...and I work with two former residents of La Belle Province. It's all in inserting h's where they've left them off...
P.S. I am so dense. I was half way through your post before I realized that you were not actually talking about perry como and obi wan kenobi. Yeesh.
Not French, my friend, Quebecios, which is a whole other ball of tabernac!
A friend of a friend that is an acquaintance of mine had a stillbirth the day before her due date.
She changed doctors and called her ob at 37 weeks in tears and frightened and freaked out that her baby had died.
It hadn't, but out of compassion, he told her right then to get over to the hospital and he would induce her right then and there. She now has two living sons and of course her stillborn son.
When I asked her for an ob recommendation at the beginning of my pregnancy (without knowing about the stillbirth; just that she'd had a hard time for some reason or other), she gave her ob a GLOWING recommendation and begged hiim to take me but he was full.
Compassion. Your OB needs compassion.
