The trials and tribulations of a typical North American family. Mom, dad and their 2.2 children: Johannes (stillborn), (miscarried) Tadpole and the surprisingly active newborn, Milo Zinan.
Oh, with respect to DBM's comment -- Chloe's guts had a terrible time with constipation because of the rice, so we quickly switched to oatmeal... oatmeal is fine at this age, even though in the states they always say to start with rice for some reason.
I know it's wrong, but I am thinking of arranged marriage for one of my daughters with that perfect little man who comes from a very nice family.... he is just so gorgeous!!!
Wow, wait a sec... Natalie is a week or so older than Milo, no? Our ped didn't tell us to start solids yet at our 4 month visit. Should I have asked? I assumed we'd wait until 6, but I am jealous that you have started already. What's the deal?
Alysse, current wisdom is to wait until 6 months. When my first was born it was 4 months. With all three of mine I gave them food as soon as they started watching me eat and letting me know they were interested. If Natalie isn't ready, she'll push her tongue to the front of her mouth and turn away. Then you just try a week later:) May the jostling for the hand of Prince Milo begin!!

Glad the cereal went well! We tried Eleanor on some but she spit it right out.

I can't believe how freakin' cute he is - the eyes are as big as the bowl on the tray!

Yay for solids. and seconding Jill and Laura's sentiments about Milo being one gorgeous, prince charming.
LOL! Looks like you had a measure of success, eh?
