The trials and tribulations of a typical North American family. Mom, dad and their 2.2 children: Johannes (stillborn), (miscarried) Tadpole and the surprisingly active newborn, Milo Zinan.
s.c., the smell of classic bic ink is so sweet and vinyl-y - how could anyone not love it? i loved it as a kid, and then lost track of it, and then my son smelled a little like it. so it's back on top of the list of favorite smells.
l.i., no navy, just a moving minister's family.
and n.k., thank you for your kind words about cleveland - it is a wonderful place, dammit. and the song image is a clip from the video for elton john's "i want love".
Everyone's song pics are stumping me! Not having cable (and therefore never seeing music videos), I would never have gotten yours. And I agree -- the picture of Cleveland makes it look rather nice!
This is the best, most inviting picture of Cleveland that's out there. The visitors bureau should publish this on their literature ... and if you look really close, you can see bloglands' David Hansen in the buff!!!

WTF?
No way - you were born in Jacksonville? So was my husband! Navy parents?
I know you said Cleveland gets made fun of, but that picture makes the skyline look so pretty!
