we might as well pack it in now

clearly, we are not fit to raise a child.

we do not have a single clean towel in our bathroom.

after an extensive, emotionally-charged manhunt, we came up with a lone clean pair of underwear for me. (before we found it, justin offered to let me wear a pair of his, because he knew i'd do the same for him, which makes me wonder...is that where all my underwear has gone?)

the last time our upstairs was vaccummed? the last time my mother was here (immediately after we lost hans).

this is not an appropriate environment for a child. if the tadpole lives, social services will take it away because we cannot take proper care of it. i don't know why we even try to have a child. it's hopeless.

Maybe for the baby shower you can register for a cleaning service to come in once a week to vacuum and such. Seriously.

I just dusted and will vacuum today. Haven't done serious cleaning since cousin was in town weekend after last miscarriage. This occasion? In-laws and MIL's sister over for dinner Sunday! Eek!

i would prefer no one throw a shower, as we have pretty much everything we need, either from our first shower or from buying it already, but i may mention to my mother and mother-in-law that if anyone asks, they could suggest cleaning service gift certificates. excellent idea. if we make it that long.

I'm with Catherine. Clean all you can now, cos it won't make a jot of difference soon enough!!

I vaccuum twice a day and it's still hopeless. *sigh*.

I am just really REALLY impressed that you are clean enough that you haven't absolutely HAD to vaccuum! You could very possibly have become my heroes:)
