enough is enough
i spent three hours awake in the middle of the night, thinking about when a d&c could be scheduled, among other sunshiney topics. i'm calling my ob.

I think you're doing the right thing. There's no need to sit and worry - wanting an ultrasound at this point, given what you've been through, is absolutely reasonable.

to update, for behind firewall laura, ob has set an order for ultrasound sometime this week. we'll certainly be double booked, but that really isn't too much of a concern. we're hoping for friday, though i'll be a bit doped up from my early morning dental work ... which, all things considered, may be a good thing.
give me the gas, doc!
